A Guadalupe Resale Cookie Exchange

The holidays are a time when we gather together and share the holiday spirit with others, delight in delicious home-baked goods, and often take time out of our busy schedule to help those less fortunate than ourselves. The Guadalupe Center has come up with a marvelous way to combine all three and have a truly wonderful time doing it. We are coining it a “Resale Shop Cookie Exchange,” much like the traditional cookie exchanges with a philanthropic twist.

Here are the rules:

1. Invite your neighbors to your “Resale Cookie Exchange” and ask each of them to bring six dozen holiday-themed cookies
2. Have them visit the Guadalupe Center’s Resale Shop and purchase a variety of different plates and serving trays
3. Make sure your guests RSVP with their recipes (no duplicate recipes)
4. Have your guests bring their cookies pre-arranged on serving trays bought at the Guadalupe Center’s Resale Shop
5. Mingle with your neighbors and enjoy tasting the various cookie varieties
6. Create smaller plates of cookies using your Guadalupe serving trays and plates.
7. Be sure to share the holiday cheer by sharing these cookies with neighbors who were unable to come

Not only are you in store for a great time with great food, but every dollar you spend at the Guadalupe Center’s Resale Shop goes directly to help break the cycle of poverty for needy families in Immokalee.

The Guadalupe Resale Shop is located on 8100 Trail Boulevard in North Naples. The hours are 10:00am - 5:00pm, Monday-Saturday, 239.594.2696.
